Extracurricular activities play an important role in a child's social and emotional development as they grow up. Children learn teamwork, empathy, efficiency, and even dedication and responsibility through extracurricular activities. While our studies provide us with a clear, set route, extracurricular activities allow children to explore themselves and their hobbies freely. It also helps students develop leadership, communication, and self-confidence, all of which have a good impact on other aspects of their lives.
Even though these activities are vital for one's growth and development, most Indian children never have the opportunity to participate in a variety of extracurricular activities that have hitherto been exclusive to the more affluent and privileged.
Due to the inaccessibility of such places, only a small percentage of the population participates in many of the activities that children in urban areas experience.
Learning new skills and engaging in new activities may help children drastically improve their self-esteem as well as their academic and other performances. To help individuals who have big dreams, to give them wings and to discover the intricacies of life, we must provide access to the things that have previously been denied to them.
Every child deserves the opportunity to learn more, grow more, and experience more so that they can benefit from it. It is our responsibility to provide them with this space as well as the tools necessary for their liberation.
The Learn Together Foundation was founded with the goal of producing dynamic, engaging, educational, and skill-building experiences and programmes for children that will allow them to develop more holistically and explore their interests and passions. Our goal is to make growing up, progress, and learning an easy experience for everyone.
